Trnava is one of the oldest and most important cities in Slovakia, located 50 km northeast of Bratislava. It is known as 'little Rome' or 'Rome of Bratislava' because of its horizon, covered with churches and synagogues. It is crossed by a motorway and the railway line that connects it with the west and the east of the country. Trnava used to be famous for its production of sugar and chocolate, and for having the best preserved brick walls in the whole country. Also the modern Peugeot factory is located in the city.
