Český Krumlov is the most important South Bohemian Heritage reserve with a preserved set of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings in the historic core of the city. Český Krumlov is therefore also the most important tourist center of South Bohemian, and its historic center and the State Castle and chateau were included in the list of UNESCO monuments in 1992. This second largest castle and chateau complex is one of the most important monuments in Censtral Europe. The production of picture moldings and frames has more than a century-old tradition here, which originated here at the end of 1860 when Schönbauer´s workshop was founded.
